Promo Blitz: An Unexpected Kiss by Cindy Roland Anderson

Cindy Roland Anderson is an Amazon best selling author who
writes clean, contemporary romance with a combination of humor, romantic
tension and some pretty great kissing scenes. She and her husband live in
northern Utah, and are parents to five children, and grandparents to six
adorable grandchildren. She is a registered nurse and has worked in the NICU as
well as the newborn nursery. She loves to read, almost as much as she loves
writing. And she loves chocolate…probably a little too much.

Lucy Phillips doesn’t want to spend her Christmas
vacation dodging her ex-boyfriend, so when he turns up at the airport to give
her a ride home, Lucy panics and asks a complete stranger to kiss her. Although
the kiss is incredible, Lucy never expects to see the guy again.

Is it bad luck
or destiny when Lucy comes down with a sore throat and the new doctor in Snow
Valley is none other than Cole Taggart, the guy she kissed at the airport?

Snippet:
Once he was alone, he
punched in Lucy’s number. She answered right away.
“Hey, this is Cole
Taggart.” He clamped his mouth shut and shook his head for being such an idiot.
She already knew his last name.

“Well, hello, Cole
Taggart,” she said with a small laugh.

“Hi.” He suddenly felt
like a dorky teenager who didn’t know how to talk to a pretty girl.

“Hi, yourself.”

Cole laughed. “I’m not
usually this awkward when I call a girl.”

“I make you nervous?”

Yeah, now that he thought
about it. “A little.”

“It’s my mother, isn’t it?
You don’t want her hitting on you for me, right?”

He laughed again.
“Actually, that’s not the reason. But speaking of your mother, why didn’t you
want to be seen with me last night?”

“Seriously? Don’t you know
I was trying to protect you? If she learns I’m hanging out with the cute new
doctor in town, your life would never be the same.”

“You think I’m cute?”

“Um…did I say that out
loud?”

“Yes.” He pictured her
sparkling blue eyes and wished this was a FaceTime call so he could see her
smile.

“Hmm. Just trust me when I
say I’m protecting you from my mother’s matchmaking schemes.”

“I guess I should thank
you.”

“You’re welcome,” she said
wryly.  He was trying to think of a witty
comeback when she gently cleared her throat. “But all joking aside, that’s why
I called. I felt bad about ditching you last night and wanted to apologize, but
then I realized I didn’t have your number.”

Cole sensed her sincerity
and it sobered him, making him remember the reason he’d wanted to call her in
the first place. “Your timing is perfect. I really needed to talk to you, but
had no idea how to get a hold of you.”

“This sounds serious.”

“It is. Can we meet
somewhere for dinner? I just found our Secret Santa family and we need to get
started right away.”
