Tyler finished repacking his backpack and straightened to stand. ‘A keeper is someone who keeps or guards something,’ he answered carefully. ‘As far as these mountains, and the legend of the dragons goes, a Keeper is also known as a Key Keeper. He, or she, is one who has been entrusted with a Key to Taragon. They were also the mortal guardians of the Dragon Realm.’ Anwen swallowed. ‘Oh.’ She brushed of the few crumbs on her clothes and took up her carryall. ‘I guess we’d better get going then.’
